Safety is at the centre of what we do. Before a sitters profile can go live on the app we verify a sitters identity (via passport or drivers licence), we check they hold a valid Working with children check/blue card, we ensure they hold First Aid and CPR certification, and we check two references.

We take extensive measures to verify the authenticity of references, even if not all referees are spoken to in person. This includes cross-referencing contact information and verifying details like employment dates.

You pay the sitter through the app - no more trying to work out what you owe on your way home, or rummaging through your bag checking you have enough cash!

The booking fee and cost of the sit are paid during confirmation. The cost of the sit refundable as long as the booking is cancelled more than 48 hours prior to the sit start time. If you and the sitter agree to extend the sit the app will calculate the extra cost.

Yes! Sitter suite requires every single sitter to hold a working with children check. Each state calls their own check something different - for example QLD calls their check a 'Blue card'

Absolutely! SS uses push notifications to get your booking popping up for sitters in your area. Unlike other babysitting services and online booking sites we do not charge a fee for last minute bookings 

Sitter Suite is free to download. You pay a non-refundable booking fee of $13.99 when you create a booking. We are currently working behind the scenes on a subscription option for our frequent users

Yes! Sitter Suite has an in-app chat function, so you can message a sitter before you confirm them for your booking

Of course! You can book a sitter can come to your house, hotel, Air Bnb, Granny's house or residence of other family you are staying with. SS will automatically populate the booking with the address you provided at sign up so when you create the booking change the address to the location of the sit 

We understand that life with children can be unpredictable! If you need to cancel and do so 48 hours prior to the start of the sit we refund 100% of the cost of the sit. Cancellation less than 48 hours prior to the start of the sit we refund 50% of the cost of the sit. The booking fee is non-refundable.  

The cancellation policy is there to protect sitters income, which in turn means Sitter Suite is able to offer a more professional sitters. Sitters set time aside for your booking and have likely turned down other bookings. The cancellation policy means that our sitters are not out of pocket.

Cancellations with more than 48 hours notice are completely refundable 

All user profile data and related information are stored in our secure database, accessible only by authorised personnel with proper authentication. We ensure that all communication between the app and the admin panel occurs over a secure domain connection with implement SSL certificates. 


We employ robust encryption methods for storage and processing of sensitive information like passwords. We use one-way encryption, meaning that once encrypted, the data cannot be reversed or decrypted by anyone, enhancing security.

Sitter suite uses Stripe as their method of payment. This means that Sitter Suite never takes your payment data and it is kept safe and secure by Stripe itself.

Stripe encrypts sensitive data both in transit and at rest. Stripe's infrastructure for storing, decrypting, and transmitting primary account numbers (PANs), such as credit card numbers, runs in a separate hosting infrastructure, and doesn't share any credentials with the rest of our services. Stripe is accredited by the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and maintains an A+ rating
